Below you will find several tracks processed using the PROst N95M.
Technical Setup:
- AD/DA Conversion: RME ADI-2 Pro FS.
- Interconnects: Custom silver cables of my own design.
- Power: The EQ was powered by the stock power supplies.
- Control: Reaper and ADI-2 Remote.
Testing Methodology: I have provided two versions for each processed track. The RME allows for switching between different reference levels; I used +4 dBu and +13 dBu. This allows you to hear how the EQ’s analog signal path reacts to different signal hotness.
All tracks were processed identically. I did not use track-specific settings. The EQ parameters match those declared in the Gearspace “I’m shooting out Mastering EQs…“ thread:
- +1 50Hz shelf
- +1 100Hz low Q
- +1 8200Hz low Q
- +1 10kHz shelf
