PROst N95P/M

The X95M / X95P is a four-band, two-channel parametric equalizer
— a modern interpretation of the classic PEa, W495b, and W495STB modules.
It is not a clone, nor a vague “inspiration.”
It is an engineering reconstruction that preserves
the structure and sonic signature of
one of the most recognizable “vinyl-era” equalizers of the 20th century.

The N95 is a careful and respectful transfer
of the character and philosophy of a legend into
a modern context.

For some, the N95 will be a tool.
For others — a part of their studio’s sonic identity.
For some — future classic.

The most critical element is precise channel matching at every point.
This guarantees stereo image integrity.
Only rotary switches are used, and 60-70% of parts are rejected during selection.
Dual-mono design with two external power supplies significantly reduces noise
— especially during LF boost. As a bonus, spatial imaging is improved.
A special four-layer PCB topology allows implementation of the fourth band
without increased noise or distortion.
Through-hole components only.

Finer gain step resolution — customizable.
The original LF- transient behaviour is reproduced exactly.
A total of 34 frequency points — twice as many as the original design.
Elma 21 mm knobs, high-contrast front panel graphics, 3U rack
— combining ergonomics, readability, and usability.
Lundahl output and input mu-core transformers – no comments.
Increased idle current of amplifier stages.

The original output stage — formerly one of the main sources of muddiness — has been modernized.
Exceptionally high output-stage headroom: +24dB@20 Hz (original: +17dB@20 Hz).
A new high-grade unit with a 3-year warranty, sparing you the maintenance issues of 30-50-year-old gear.
